The forecast was awful but Mark decided to sail the day not the forecast. Much happier thanks to some tuning advice from Jonk. Much better thanks

Nigel made it today with his new beast... the blue streak. and along with Mike used their A rigs against Jonk, Robin, Ben and Mark who used their B rigs. the Harwich boys and Ben used Jonk sails and whether it was the sails or just skill. they Jonk sails dominated the racing.
Indeed Jonk was the winner in most races, Robin and Ben shared the honours for the rest Mike scored a bullet or two and Nigel got a couple of seconds. Mark supported the fleet in last place ... wait till next time This weekend Alton Water is going to be very busy. Not only are we hosting 3 squads, the Aeros, the Fevas, and the Teras, but the school are hosting the Suffolk Shiver Team racing. But will this put us off....not on your life. 1300 racing starts, we may even have an audience. forecast is breezy but damp. Who is in?
Well we braved the cold and the ice, actually it was sunny, there was a gentle 10 knots coming in from the southeast and we held several races in our little corner. The racing got closer and closer as the day progressed and congestion was often at the start and as the day progressed also at the finish. Everyone had a great deal of fun. Till next week then to edit.
After our first board meeting. we now have a constitution - this is on the documents page if anyone actually is interested.
